Olivia Clarke, who was the choir's music director for the 2016/17 season has been appointed as ENO Mackerras Fellow for emerging conductors. Read more here.
We are delighted for Olivia and wish her all the best for the future. Her enthusiasm and conducting skills certainly made a fantastic contribution to the choir's development in the short time she was with us.
Congratulations to Catriona Morison who won the main prize and was joint winner of the song prize at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2017. Catriona performed with Kelvin Choir as a soloist at our May 2013 concert when she featured as the Mezzo Soprano soloist in the Mozart Requiem whilst she was studying at the Alexander Gibson Opera School in Glasgow. We wish her every success with all her future projects.
